There are many species of pet birds, small to large birds. Each bird has different housing requirements. This chart can help you get an idea of what size cage to get for your companion bird.
It is advisable to purchase the largest size cage that you can afford and that will fit in your household. Here are some Minimum cage size recommendations. When purchasing a cage make sure that the bar spacing is appropriate for your bird. A cage for a larger parrot that has wide bar spacing is not good for other bird species.
